How to Bake With Panko Bread Crumbs
If you're trying to cut down on the fat in your diet, you may be saddened at the thought of giving up crispy fried chicken and fish. With the clever addition of panko bread crumbs, you don't have to give up any of the crispy crunch of fried foods. You'll simply be giving up the extra oil in which the regular coating is crisped. Panko is crispy, Japanese-style bread crumbs that absorb less oil than conventional crumbs, so a panko coating stays crunchier while being lower in fat. Does this Spark an idea?
