A carpet foam can remove stains from your carpet, leaving it looking clean and new.

Instructions

    • 1

Combine 1/4 cup of room temperature water with 1/4 cup of liquid carpet cleaner in a bowl. Do not use hot water or the mixture will not foam.

    • 2

Use a whisk to vigorously whisk the mixture. Continue whisking until the foam forms. If the foam is still too watery, add 2 tbsp of liquid carpet cleaner to the mixture until the foam forms.

    • 3

Dip a soft cloth or carpet-cleaning brush into the mixture. Scrub the mixture directly on any carpet stains or spots. Allow the mixture to work into the stain for 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the type of stain.

Dampen a soft cloth in cold water and wring out to remove excess. Dab at the area to remove soap residue.
