Instructions for Washing 50% Polyester, 50% Cotton Sheets
Cotton and polyester blends combine the soft, breathable comfort of cotton with the durability of polyester. The 50/50 cotton/poly blend is a common mix in clothing, blankets and sheets. While specific directions for washing any particular set of sheets can be found on the packaging, washing a cotton/poly blend is relatively straightforward. Set your washing machine to its normal wash setting, with the water level appropriate for the size of the sheet load.

Turn the water temperature dial to Warm/Cold. Warm water will help disinfect sheets and will not damage 50/50 cotton/poly blends.

Pour an appropriate amount of detergent into the wash, and then place your sheets in the tub. Start the wash.

Run your sheets through the dryer at low or medium heat, or hang them out to dry on a line.

Tips & Warnings
If desired, add a fabric softener sheet during the dryer cycle.
