Instructions

    • 1

Take a bag of flour out to the garden in the early morning.

    • 2

Sprinkle a handful of flour on any caterpillars you see. The flour will dry up the pests and kill them.

    • 3

Go back out to the garden at dusk and repeat the search for caterpillars. Sprinkle the flour on any others you find.

    • 4

Pour 1/2 cup of dry dog food on paper plates and scatter them throughout the garden. The dog food draws slugs. Leave the paper plates out overnight. In the morning, sprinkle a handful of flour on the slugs you find in the paper plate to dry up the slugs and kill them.

    • 5

Throw away the paper plate, slugs and all.
