How to Save a Mouse From a Trap
Mice are unwelcome guests in just about any home. While putting down mouse traps can be a good way to catch mice and other rodents invading your home, you might not want to kill or hurt a mouse once you've caught it in a glue trap. These traps can be considered less humane than snap traps because they don't kill a mouse on impact, allowing a rodent to suffer for days of starvation or self-torture in an effort to free itself. There are, however, ways to safely remove mice from glue traps. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Transport the mouse and trap away from the house. The farther away you can transport it, the smaller the chances that it will return to your home.
-
2
Apply vegetable oil to the glue on the trap with the cotton swab, ensuring that it makes contact in areas where the mouse is attached to the trap. The vegetable oil will loosen the adhesive and allow the mouse to eventually slip out of the trap.

3
Release the mouse from the trap. Discard the trap and the cotton swabs.
