How to Prepare a Lamb Shank
Lamb shank comes from the lower part of the leg. It may be roasted, baked or braised, but slow cooking will produce tender chunks of meat that fall off the bone. Slow cooking, or Crock Pot cooking, allows the shank to cook in a self-contained device for several hours, sealing in the flavor. This allows the meat to slowly break down and keeps the juices inside the meat. Add your favorite seasonings and return several hours later to enjoy the finished dish. Does this Spark an idea?
