Square your height, or multiply your height by itself. For example, if you are 68 inches tall, your height squared would be 4,624 (68 x 68).

Calculate your minimum ideal weight by multiplying your height-squared number by 0.0263. For example, if you are 68 inches tall, calculate your minimum ideal weight with the equation 4,624 x 0.0263 = 121.6 pounds.

Calculate your maximum ideal weight by multiplying your height-squared number by 0.0354. For example, if you are 68 inches tall, calculate your minimum ideal weight with the equation 4,624 x 0.0354 = 163.7 pounds.
