Instructions

    • 1

Shave the skin over your tattoo if it is on an area where hair grows. Both hair and dry skin cells can give away a heavy makeup job.

    • 2

Use a heavy concealer one shade lighter than your actual skin tone to cover your tattoo. Add a few drops of water to a foam makeup sponge and wipe it over the surface of the concealer to load it with foundation.

    • 3

Apply a layer of foundation to the tattoo with the sponge, working in a circular motion. Allow the first layer to dry thoroughly before you continue.

    • 4

Add additional layers of foundation, allowing each layer to dry before applying the next one. Repeat this step until you can no longer see your tattoo.

    • 5

Swirl a large powder brush in a container of loose translucent powder. Working in small circles, buff the powder over the concealer until it blends in with the texture of your skin.
