1
Paint the base coat of nail polish on your fingernails. Choose the darker color out of two shades of your choice. For example, if you have pink and white, begin by coating your nails in pink.
-
2
Dip the nail polish brush in the pot, and shake it gently to get rid of the excess droplets gathered on the end. Apply it to your nails one at a time. Use strokes moving from the base of the nail toward the end of your finger.

3
Leave your nails to air dry. The time varies depending on the type of polish you are using. Test them by lightly dabbing your thumb nail with the tip of a finger. The paint will not smudge or transfer to your finger if it is dry.
-
4
Paint the petals of the flower on each fingernail. One petal is created by dipping a liner brush in the white nail varnish. Then, dab ii gently on the surface of the nail. Lift it upward and, as you do so, sweep it across the nail slightly to create a small leaf.
-
5
Repeat Step 4 so that you have four petals in a circle. Use the liner brush again and add small thin lines between each petal. Make these flicks slightly curved to give the flower a unique effect.
-
6
Dot specks of white nail polish along the edge of the lines you painted during Step 5. Place a larger single dot of yellow in the center of the four petals -- this is the flower's middle.
-
7
Use green nail polish to paint two small green triangles of paint, each positioned between two of the flowers' petals. Give the triangles slightly curved edges so they look like leaves.
-
8
Add a thin line of pink nail polish, protruding from the yellow center of the flower. Make the line stop before the edge of the petals. Put a few dots around the end of the line.
