Lay the 1-yard length of fabric flat on your work surface. Cut out a strip of fabric that is 4 inches by 36 inches. This piece will serve as a belt to be tied around your waist when you are ready to wear your costume.

3
Lay the side ties and belt aside until you are ready to assemble your costume.
Tunic

4
Fold the 2-yard length of fabric in half lengthwise on your work surface. Locate the approximate center of the folded edge. Cut a neck hole through the center, using jagged, uneven cuts.
-
5
Cut along all the edges of the fabric, using jagged, uneven cuts. The more uneven the cuts, the more realistic the effect will be.
-
6
Lay your caveman tunic flat on the floor. Line up the front and back sides of the tunic.
-
7
Cut three small holes along the length of both the left and right sides of the tunic by piercing through the fabric with your scissors. Make sure that the holes go through both the front and back pieces of fabric.
-
8
Thread one side tie through each hole made along the sides of the tunic. Tie each side tie into a knot. This will hold the front and back sections of the tunic together.
Bone Accessory
-
9
Tear off several small pieces of aluminum foil. Crumple the foil into the shape of a bone.
-
10
Tear off some strips of masking tape. Cover the aluminum foil bone with the tape.
-
11
Cut a six-inch length of leather shoelace cording. Attach the center of the cording to the bone with a small piece of masking tape. When you are ready to wear your costume, use the cording to tie the bone to your hair.

Wrap a layer of bubble wrap around the plastic baseball bat. Tear off a piece of masking tape, and lay it over the bubble wrap to secure it into place.
