Instructions

    • 1

Clean the figure completely, removing any oils, grime, flashing and dirt with a scrub brush, soapy water and a file. Dry the figure completely with a lint-free rag. Hot glue the figure to its base and allow it to set for a few minutes.

    • 2

Spray paint the figure and base with a matte black paint and allow it to completely dry for an hour. Use a matte black paint and brush to paint any spots missed by the spray. Again, allow the paint to dry.

    • 3

Use pictures of WWII troops and uniforms as reference for the colors you will be painting your figures. Paint one color at a time, starting with base colors then moving to the detail colors. For example, paint a base green color for the clothing, then paint in the buttons and color accents. When painting, work in one color, allow it to dry, then move to the next color. Continue doing this until you have finished with each color.
