How to Access a Boson CCNA Simulator
The Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is a challenging, entry-level network engineering certification that includes a variety of questions about network design, network security and interactive network configuration simulations. Boson Netsim software provides a network simulation environment in which students can interactively practice live network configuration to prepare for the CCNA exam in lieu of purchasing expensive network equipment. Download, install and run Boson Netsim software to access CCNA simulation labs.

Go to the "Boson: Boson Downloads" Web page, click on the "Netsim Download" button and save the downloaded file to your computer hard drive. Double-click on the downloaded installation file. Click the "Next" button on the installation window that appears, then click "Yes" to acknowledge the licensing agreement and proceed with the installation. Click the "Next" button to leave the install folder as the default setting. Click "Next" to start installing the Boson program files. Click "Finish" to complete the installation.

Click the "Start" or "Globe" button in the lower left corner of the Windows 7 PC desktop. Click "Programs," "Boson Software," "Boson Netsim XX" (where "XX" is the Netsim software version installed), and "Boson Netsim."

Click the "Continue in Demo Mode" button in the "Boson Netsim -- Product Activation" window if you have not yet purchased a product activation key. If you have a product activation key, enter your email address into the "Email Address" field in the "Boson Netsim -- Product Activation" window. Type your Boson account password in the "Password" field and your product activation key into the "Registration Key" field. Click the "Activate" button.

Click on the "Labs" arrow button in the upper-left corner of the "Boson Netsim" software to expand the list of labs available and begin using the Netsim software.
