How to Remove or Take Stopper Out of the Bottom of a Tub
Most tubs come with either a "pop-up" stopper, which is similar to a sink stopper that is connected to the drain, or with a removable rubber stopper. If you have a clog or just need to drain the water from a bath, you will need to remove the stopper. Does this Spark an idea?

Rubber Stopper

Hold the metal chain attached to the stopper close to the stopper itself.

Pull the chain straight up until the stopper comes out and place it aside.

Allow all the water to drain out.
Pop-Out Stopper

Pull the lever on the wall to lift the stopper if it is not released already.

Allow any water to drain.

Hold the stopper by the top and pull it straight out of the drain.

Disconnect the bar under the stopper from the bent arm to completely remove the stopper from the drain.
