How to Assemble a Roland Drum Frame
The drums are an essential rhythm instrument in many different types of music, but they can take up a great deal of space and can prove difficult to transport. Electronic drums offer a lightweight, more portable alternative to acoustic drums while providing a wide range of synthesizer drum tones. Electronic drums require a frame to hold and organize the set. Roland manufactures many types of drum frames, which you must assemble in the correct order.

Adjust the 750 mm curved pipe to the desired height, and tighten the nuts at both ends with a drum key.
-
4
Slide the open ends of the remaining 750 mm curved pipe over the right 650 mm straight pipe and the 500 mm straight pipe.
-
5
Adjust the remaining 750 mm curved pipe to the desired height, and tighten down the nuts at both ends with a drum key.
-
6
Slide the open ends of the 600 mm curved pipe over the left and right 650 mm straight pipes.

7
Adjust the 600 mm curved pipe to the desired height, and tighten the nuts down at both ends with a drum key.
-
8
Disassemble a holder by turning the knob on its side counterclockwise.
-
9
Place each side of the disassembled holder on either side of one of the curved poles, and screw the holder into place by turning the knob on its side clockwise. Repeat this process with all the holders included in the drum frame kit. Place each holder at the height at which you would like the corresponding electronic drum or cymbal to sit.
-
10
Insert a pad or cymbal arm into the arm hole of the holder, and tighten it into place by turning the knob near the arm hole clockwise. Repeat this process with the remaining holders.
-
11
Insert one of the remaining pad or cymbal arms into the hole at the top of one of the 650 mm straight pipes. Tighten the arm into place by turning the knob at the top of the hole clockwise. Repeat this process with any remaining arms and straight poles.
-
12
Adjust the angle of a drum or cymbal arm by turning the knob at its side counterclockwise, rotating the arm on its axis and tightening it in place by turning the knob at its side clockwise. Repeat this process with all the drum and cymbal arms.
-
13
Check all knobs and nuts to ensure you have tightened them securely. Tighten any loose knobs by turning them clockwise, and tighten any loose nuts by turning them clockwise with a drum key.
