How to Win Monkey Bloons Tower Defense III
"Bloons Tower Defense III" is the third installation in Ninja Kiwi's browser-based "Bloons" series of tower defense games. These games task the player with destroying as many balloons as possible by placing specially equipped monkey units at strategic places around the playfield. Once the monkeys are placed they will attempt to destroy any balloons that wander near them using darts, claws, bombs and many other attacks. Tower defense games are about making the best decisions in unit type and placement to ensure a perfect victory. Gaining a perfect victory in "Bloons III" is actually quite simple and should take less than a half hour.

Purchase a "Dart Monkey" for your first tower. Dart monkeys attack quickly, and when they are leveled up they can attack multiple balloons at once, making them a very valuable asset. Place your first dart monkey close to your starting position.

Study the map to determine the ideal placement locations. "Bloons III" features many different map layouts, so you'll need to vary your strategy based on the map you're playing on. The best locations to place monkeys are at intersections and corners where balloons will need to pass by the monkey multiple times. This will give you free strikes on passing balloons.

Purchase more dart monkeys until you have four to six of them covering the major intersections and corners on the map.

Place "Tack Towers" at corners to accompany your dart monkeys. Tack towers slow down clusters of balloons, making them take many more hits from darts than they would when moving at their normal speed. These tack towers also play an important role in clumping together the balloons, making them more susceptible to area-of-effect damage

Place "Cannon Towers" along the straight sections of the path near the beginning of the track. These towers deal large amounts of damage in an area of effect, but fire very slowly. When combined with dart towers and tack towers, they can killed large groups of enemies in just a few shots.

Use pineapple bombs to destroy targets that can't be completely finished off using your towers. Pineapple bombs are a targeted ability that the player can use a few times in each map. The primary target of your pineapple bombs should be the boss balloon known as the the "Ornery Air Blimp." The blimp has a huge amount of health, and can ruin your chance at a perfect victory if it is not quickly shot down.

Upgrade your dart monkeys to "Super Monkeys" when you have enough funds to do so. Super monkeys have a much higher attack speed and damage than regular dart monkeys. Super Monkeys are the final step towards a perfect victory, and will do a great job of supplementing your tack and cannon towers.
