How to Use the Kill Switch on a Schwinn Scooter

Most Schwinn scooters are electric scooters that were popular during the early- and mid-2000s. They run on battery power and allow users to either use the electric motor or push themselves forward with their own legs. In order to use the Schwinn scooters, you have to stand up and hold on to the steering bars. The power switch and kill switch on the Schwinn scooter are one and the same.

Instructions

1. Turn on the "Power/Kill" switch on your Schwinn scooter. It should be located on the right side of the handlebars.

2. Drive your Schwinn scooter down the road.

3. Press the "Power/Kill" switch to stop the Schwinn scooter from getting power from the battery. The kill switch is not like the brakes. The scooter will move forward slowly until it stops when you press the kill switch.

• Always wear a helmet when riding a scooter.
