Use a spool of speaker wire that you can cut to fit your connection needs for each Neural speaker.

The Neural Audio Corporation, owned by DTS Digital Entertainment, manufactures high-end speakers for home entertainment systems. Most modern audio-video receivers come equipped with DTS encoding technology to process the digital Neural surround signal. The DTS logo is typically printed on the front of a receiver or in the owner's manual that comes with the component. Connecting the speakers to the receiver takes only a few minutes with a spool of speaker wire and wire strippers.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn the AV receiver to inspect the front control panel and locate the DTS logo to confirm you have a receiver capable of processing DTS audio signals.

    • 2

Cut a length of speaker wire to connect between the receiver and each of your front, center, right and two rear surround sound speakers. Peel away half an inch of plastic coating from the two separate wires on each end of the speaker wires.

    • 3

Attach the striped or colored wire to the positive terminal on the back of each speaker and connect the other wire to the negative terminal.

    • 4

Hook up the other end of each wire to the terminals on the back of the AV receiver that are labeled for each speaker.

    • 5

Turn on the power to the receiver and set the component's surround sound mode to DTS. The button is typically labeled "Surr" and must be pressed repeatedly to cycle through the various surround sound settings available to reach DTS.
