How to Put a Background on MySpace Music Page
Attracting viewers to your MySpace music profile is a great way to spread new music and gain fans. To create a profile that is interesting and represents your style, use the MySpace customization options. In addition to adding a specific theme, you are able to use a photo as the background image. Altering a MySpace profile takes just a few minutes and changes can always be reversed later.

Hover your mouse over the "My Stuff" icon at the top of the MySpace homepage and select "Customize" in the "Profile" section.

Click "Build My Own Theme" in the "Profile Designer" section. Select "Add background image" with your mouse.

Click "Use a photo" to use an image from one of your MySpace albums as the background image. Click the album and then the desired image. Click "Type a URL" to enter the URL for an image currently located on another site, such as Flickr.

Select "Fixed" or "Scroll" to determine whether or not the image moves as a user scrolls down on the page, or stays fixed in one place. Click "Tile" to repeat the image across the page, or "Stretch" to use the image once across the entire page.

Click "Publish" to finalize the changes to your profile.
