How to Custom Make Scripture Prints
The Bible is full of encouraging scriptures that can help you get through the day. Many passages speak of strength, friendship, hope and other factors that remind us of faith and beliefs. One good way to keep scriptures in mind is to create photo prints that feature specific verses. These custom-designed scripture prints also make excellent gifts and products to sell at a church fair or craft booth.

1
Choose a scripture to feature on your print. It could be an encouraging message from Psalms, or a message from Jesus from one of the Gospels. Choose something that touches you personally. A Concordance or Bible Dictionary will help you choose an appropriate verse.

2
Look through your photo collection, or find a website that has clip art you can download for free. Find a photo that matches the essence of the verse you are featuring. For example, if your scripture talks about strength, find a picture of a mountain or a rock formation. Be sure the picture is clear and of an interesting subject.

Scan or download the picture into your computer, and open it in your desktop publishing program. Choose a text color that will show up well on your print. Dark text will show up better on a light background, while light colors show up better on a dark background. Position the scripture text in a portion of the picture that will not cover an important element of the photo, such as an empty patch of sky. If there is not room to insert text into the picture itself, give your print a border to include your text.

4
Print out your scripture print with photo paper. Or take it to a professional photo developing center to have it processed there.
