MVP Baseball 2005 is a game created by Electronic Arts' EA Sports division. One of the most popular PlayStation 2 (PS2) sports game ever, it has also received enormous critical acclaim. Popular gaming review site IGN ranks it the 50th best PS2 game of all time, and X-Play called it the best sports game of 2005. If you want to join the thousands playing this game on PS2, or play a modified version, installation is simple.

Things You'll Need

• MVP Baseball 2005 installation disc (with case)

Instructions

1. Open your PS2 by pressing the "Open" (later models) or "Eject" (earlier models) button on the front of the device.

2. Insert the MVP Baseball 2005 disc you wish to play, label side up.

3. Enter your registration code using your joystick's up/down and right/left buttons. The code is printed on the game CD case. You only need to do this the first time you install the game.

4. Highlight "Register," and click the "Enter" button.

5. Begin a game by selecting "Single Player" or "Multi-player."

6. Select various options like team(s), players and difficulty rating.

7. Click "Start." On subsequent plays, you can either continue this game or start a new one.
