How to Get Alternate Costumes in "Final Fantasy"
"Final Fantasy X" was the first game in the series to have a sequel set in the same world, "Final Fantasy X-2." In many ways, "X-2" is a nontraditional "Final Fantasy" game, and it has a number of noteworthy innovations, including the Dressphere System. Unlike most games in the series, "X-2" features only three characters, but you can change the outfits of these three characters to gain entirely new abilities, strengths and weaknesses.

Equip Dresspheres

Press the Triangle button to go to the main menu.

Open the Garment Grid.

Select a Dressphere to equip and place it in one of the open nodes of your Garment Grid. Some nodes have special icons called Gates. These provide special abilities. Select a node with a Gate to view what this ability does. You can equip multiple Dresspheres to a single character by placing different spheres in different grids. You can cycle through them either in or out of combat.

Open the Main Menu by pressing the Triangle button.

Open the Equipment menu and then the Dressphere submenu.

Select the outfit you want to wear and press the X button to change into it.

Wait for one of the characters to have a turn.

Press the L1 button to summon the custom change menu.

Select a new Dressphere and press X.
