How to Make a Skeleton Costume for Little Boys
Make your little boy into a spooky skeleton for Halloween this year. A skeleton costume is not only easy to assemble, but is warm. The clothing used for the costume works perfectly for trick-or-treating on those chilly October evenings. The costume also allows free movement, a must of any ensemble worn by an active little boy. The costume is machine washable, another must for an outfit worn by a small boy.

1
Draw the shapes of the bones on the felt with the marker. You need two bones for each arm, two for each leg, a hip, spine, rib cage and hands. The bone shapes need to fit on the sleeve.
-
2
Cut out the bone shapes with the scissors.

3
Lay the pants and shirt out on a flat surface. Remove the cap from the glue. Cover the entire back of each bone with a thin layer of glue. Place each in its place. Tap the fabric bone to make sure it sticks to the fabric. Do not press it. The glue will leak through the shirt if you do.

4
Glue the finger bones on the back of the gloves.

5
Lay the ski mask on a flat surface. Place a piece of cardboard inside the mask. Pour white fabric paint onto the plate. Dip the paintbrush in the paint. Paint the front of the mask white. Let it dry. After it dries, turn the mask over and paint the back white.

6
Put the shirt on a hanger. Hang the pants from a clip hanger. Wait for both items to dry completely before the child wears the costume.
