  • Cheese grater
  • Bar of soap

      Grate your bar of soap. If you do not have a grater, cut the bar of soap into small pieces. You need the soap to dissolve in the water so it should be as small as you can get it.

      Boil 3 cups of water. Add the grated soap and stir until it is dissolved.

      Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool down. This can take about 20 minutes.

      Pour the cooled mixture into the dispenser or storage containers.

Tips & Warnings

  • For added moisture, use a moisturizing soap bar. To make your liquid soap a gift, you can add a little ribbon around the neck of the dispenser with a homemade soap card attached.
