How to Locate Food Banks
A food bank is an organization that collects donated food and distributes it to various charities such as soup kitchens, homeless shelters, low-income day care centers and other youth programs. Each state is likely to have several food banks. Finding a food bank in your area is easy to do using Feeding America's online database. This search allows you to research various food banks, where they distribute and how to get involved.
