How to Get the Chisel on Sims Castaway
In "Sims 2: Castaway" for the DS, the gameplay revolves around a sequence of quests that you do for different castaways who are shipwrecked on a group of islands along with your character. The object is to survive and then finally to escape the island. To create a canoe to journey to the third island, you need a chisel. The chisel is obtained through a series of quests for a character named Chef Butcher.

Talk to Chef Butcher. He is standing by a tree in the third area of the game. He wants peaches off the tree, so shake the tree with the stylus to make them fall off.

Talk to him again, and he will ask for chilis. Return to the previous area and find the chili plant next to a character called Ms. Weeder. Wait for the chili plant to grow, then tap on it to pick the chilis.

Take the chilis back to Chef Butcher and he will ask you to upgrade his fire pit. You will need stones, a shovel and some small sticks. You should already have the shovel and small sticks at this point from a previous quest.

Gather the stones on the beach or by digging for them with your shovel. Once you have all the items, tap on the fire next to Chef Butcher and select "craft fire."

Tap the fire to light it. Chef Butcher will give you the chisel to do the next quest in the sequence.
