How to Buy Stuff on PlayStation Home

Buying virtual items on PlayStation Home costs real world money.

PlayStation Home allows you to buy virtual items for your game avatar with real world money through the PlayStation Network wallet. While there are many freebie items that you can unlock by buying certain games, watching movies and playing the mini games included in PlayStation Home, some items are only available for purchase. You will need to add money to your wallet to purchase these items for your character.

Instructions

1. Add money to your wallet by purchasing PlayStation Network cards at stores that sell video games, or by adding money from a credit or debit card through the "PlayStation Network" icon in the console's menu.

2. Click "Transaction Management" and then click "Add Funds." You are now ready to go shopping.

3. Log onto the PlayStation Network. The Mall area is where you buy items and upgrade your avatar's living room. Enter the stores to select and purchase new items.

Tips & Warnings

• The minimum amount you can purchase through a credit card is $5.
