How to Add QuestHelper

"QuestHelper" is an add-on for "World of Warcraft" that helps you complete the quests in your Quest log. "QuestHelper" directs you to the objective of the quest and shows you the locations of each objective on your world map. Since "QuestHelper" is a third-party application, you must install it into the "Addon" folder in the main "World of Warcraft" folder. You'll have to first download the add-on before you can install it.

Instructions

1. Visit a "World of Warcraft" add-on website, such as Curse or WoW Interface (see Resources).

2. Type "QuestHelper" in the "Search" box. Download the latest version, which is always the first version listed under "Downloads." Save the file to your desktop. "QuestHelper" will download in a zip folder.

3. Right-click the "QuestHelper" zip folder. Select "Extract all." Click "Browse." Click "Computer," and select your hard drive disk, which is usually the "C:" drive. Select "Program Files" and click "World of Warcarft." Click the "Interface folder" and then the "Addons" folder.

4. Click "OK." Start "World of Warcraft." Enter your login information and click "Addons" on the character select screen. Scroll down and make sure "QuestHelper" is enabled. If "QuestHelper" is disabled, click the checkbox next to the add-on.
