How to Defrost King Crab Legs
When it comes to getting your two servings of fish a week, include king crab legs now and again for a rich, tasty treat. Crab is low in saturated fat, but high in heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. Commercially harvested from the sea, king crab is promptly cleaned, sectioned, steamed, frozen and shipped to your grocer's freezer section. Plan in advance for your feast of king crab legs. They need to defrost thoroughly before you serve the meat. Because it's already been cooked, the legs may be served cold as soon as they're thawed or separated from the shell and used in your favorite crab recipe. Does this Spark an idea?
