How to Enter an iTunes Card

iTunes gift cards allow users to easily buy media for their iPhone, iPod and iPad devices. The prepaid cards can be used to purchase music and videos or rent movies in the iTunes store. Redeeming the cards takes just moments, and the credits will be stored in iTunes, making a purchase checkout very quick.

Instructions

1. Open iTunes on your computer. If you do not currently have the program, download it at no charge from the Apple website.

2. Click on "iTunes Store" in the iTunes sidebar.

3. Sign in to iTunes, if you are not signed in already, by clicking on the "Sign In" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

4. Click "Redeem" in the "Quick Links" section, located along the right side of the screen.

5. Enter the 16-digit code on the back of the iTunes card and click "Redeem." The amount of money associated with the card will be credited to your iTunes account.
