How to Connect a Sprint Prepaid Phone

Sprint prepaid phone service is offered through Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile wireless providers. Each of these providers offers mobile phone service with no contracts and no commitment. Connecting or activating your prepaid phone through these service providers can be done online through your provider's site or customer service line. In order to activate your phone, you must have the information listed on your phone, including the electronic serial number or ESN.

Instructions

1. Open your mobile phone provider's Web page and click "Activate."

2. Enter the required information for your mobile phone. The online system may require your ESN or IMEI and SIM card number. Your ESN or electronic serial number and your IMEI or international mobile equipment identity number are both located on the back of your mobile phone beneath your battery. Not all phones will have a SIM card.

3. Click the option that allows you to access the next screen.

4. Click the plan you would like for your phone and click "Next."

5. Enter your account information including your name and billing address and click "Next."

6. Enter your payment information and click "Next." The online system will complete your activate after verifying your payment. You will be taken to a confirmation page notifying you that your phone is activated.
