How to Find My Amazon User Nickname

If you want to use Amazon for trading you need to set up a seller account to sell merchandise. The sign-in page uses your registered email address as the login ID. This is helpful because you might forget your user nickname but probably not the email address. Your full name is displayed on top of your home account page. Your nickname, however, is the name displayed to your buyers and your peers on the Amazon seller forums. To find out what it is you need to access the account settings page.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to Amazon seller account home page (see Resources).

    • 2

Type in your registered email address and password where requested and click "Sign in using our secure server" button. (Click "Forgot your password?" link to have the password resent to your email if you don't remember it.)

    • 3

Click "Seller Account Information" link under "Settings."

    • 4

Locate your nickname next to "Display Name."

Tips & Warnings

  • Visit Amazon customer-service web page (see Resources) to change your registered email address if it's no longer valid and you forgot your password.
