Homemade Disinfectant Granite Cleaner

Disinfect granite with vinegar.

Granite is commonly found in kitchen and bathroom areas, two areas where bacteria often accumulates. Use a homemade disinfectant routine that safely removes buildup and bacteria from the granite without causing any etching, discoloration or other damage. A homemade item works well as a commercial disinfectant, and when diluted properly it is safe for your granite surface.

Things You'll Need

• Spray bottle
• Water
• White vinegar
• Dish soap
• Cleaning rags

Instructions

1. Mix 2 cups water, 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1/2 tsp. dish soap in a spray bottle.

2. Spray the mixture over your granite surface, and wipe off with a damp cleaning rag.

3. Dry the granite with a clean rag to prevent streaking from forming on the granite. Use this cleaner as needed when the granite requires cleaning and disinfecting.
