Traveler DC 6300 Instructions
The Traveler DC 6300, otherwise known as the Vivitar ViviCam 4000 for travelers is a 6.0 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom. The camera also has a two-inch LCD screen and auto-focus capabilities. The Vivitar ViviCam 4000 (Traveler DC) also has a 4.4x digital zoom and five shooting modes, as well as a movie mode. The basic operations of the ViviCam 4000 is fairly straightforward.

Navigating Setup Menu

Set the "Mode" dial at the top of the camera to "Set up." The "Basic" tab of the setup menu will appear on the display screen.

Use the "Up/Down" arrows buttons on the back of the camera to select the desired option item, then press "Set" to enter its sub-menu.

Use the "Up/Down" arrow buttons to select the desired settings in the sub-menu, then press "Set" to save the settings.

Change the "Mode" dial to exit the setup menu.
Taking Basic Pictures

Press the "Power" button located on the top of the camera to turn the camera on, then set the "Mode" dial to "A" for "Auto" mode.

Place your desired image within the frame of the viewfinder. The image can be viewed on the display screen on the back of the camera.

Press down the "Shutter" button on the top of the camera to capture the image. The focus area will turn blue and the viewfinder LED light will turn green when the image is in focus.
