How to Remove Deodorant From Faux Leather
Not only can deodorant leave white marks on faux leather, chemicals in the deodorant can also cause discoloration if not removed. Faux leather is much easier to clean than real leather, allowing you to use mild laundry detergent rather than leather soaps and cleaners. Remove deodorant from faux leather as soon as you notice it. Things You'll Need
- White vinegar
- Small bowl or cup
- Soft cloth or sponge
- Large bowl
- Mild liquid laundry detergent

Combine 1/4 cup warm water and 1/4 cup white vinegar in a small bowl or cup.

Dip a soft cloth or sponge in the vinegar mixture. Squeeze to remove excess liquid.

Rub the cloth or sponge against the deodorant spot on the faux leather. Continue dipping the cloth or sponge in the vinegar mixture and rubbing until the deodorant marks fade.

Mix 1 tsp. mild liquid laundry detergent and 2 cups warm water in a large bowl. Rinse the soft cloth or sponge with water, then dip into the soapy water.

Wipe over the faux leather to remove the vinegar and any remaining deodorant.

Rinse the cloth or sponge again and use to wipe away any soap residue on the faux leather.
