How to Keep Pools Cool
Water generally needs to be heated to keep it from shocking your system as you gingerly climb into a pool. During hot summer months, or in scorching climates such as Arizona and Florida, pool water can become almost as hot as a jacuzzi tub. To cool the water down to a refreshing temperature, you need to allow the heat to escape from the pool or add cold water to offset the heat. Does this Spark an idea?

Remove solar covers during the day and night. Roll them up on a solar cover reel or remove from the pool and fold them to store. The solar cover keeps heat from escaping from the pool water. Removing the cover will allow the night temperatures to cool the water.

2
Place a garden hose into the pool and run cold water for 15 minutes. Remove the garden hose and turn on the pool pump. The pump helps distribute the cool water throughout the pool, thus cooling down the water.

Allow the pool pump to run for at least two to three hours. Agitating the water allows the heat to escape.
