How to Operate the Bluetooth on a Sony Ericsson U5i

Connect your Sony Ericsson Vivaz U5i phone with your Bluetooth device by following these instructions and give yourself the ability to use hands-free devices and connect to your PC.

Instructions

1. Enter a name for your phone. Select "Menu," "Settings," "Connectivity," then "Bluetooth" and "Phone name." Type in your selected name and select "OK."

2. Set your phone to be visible to the Bluetooth devices. Select "Menu," "Settings," "Connectivity," then "Bluetooth" and "Phone visibility." Select "Visible." To hide your phone, follow the same direction and choose "Hidden" for visibility.

3. Turn on the Bluetooth function to connect your phone with your Bluetooth device. Select "Menu," "Settings," "Connectivity," "Bluetooth" and then "On." You must have the Bluetooth function activated on both devices in order to have them detect each other and connect. Once your phone detects the other device, select it from the Bluetooth list and connect.

Tips & Warnings

• Bluetooth devices should be no more than 30 feet apart.
