How to Make a Free Birthday Photo Card
Finding just the right birthday card can seem frustrating or even impossible. With a custom-made free photograph card, however, you can wish someone "Happy Birthday" with your own personal touch.
Things You'll Need
- Microsoft PowerPoint software
- Computer printer
- Printer paper or card stock

Select the comparison layout format in Microsoft PowerPoint. Begin by clicking on "Layout." In the drop-down menu that then displays, click on "Comparison." A title box, two text boxes and two multimedia boxes will appear.

Remove the title box. Right-click on the box's top left corner, and press the "Delete" key on your computer's keyboard.

Balloons add a birthday motif to a card's front cover. Search for appropriate clip art. Click on the Insert tab. In the drop-down menu that then displays, select "Clip Art." A box will appear on the right side of your screen. Type "party" under "Search for:," and then click on "Go."

Drag and drop the clip art you select to the right side of your PowerPoint page. That adds the picture to your card.

Add text in the box above the picture you added. This will be the front page of your card.

Print the card's front page on printer paper or card stock.
Inside Message

Delete the first slide.

Open a new page in PowerPoint. Click on the New Slide tab, and a new page will appear automatically in the comparison layout.

Insert a photograph from your computer file. Click on the "Insert picture" icon in the right-hand box of the PowerPoint page. Then select the photo that you want to insert.

Type a personal message in the text box above the photo.

Print the card's inside message. Reinsert the card's front page that you printed face down in your printer. Then you may print the inside message on the other side of the printer paper or card stock.

Fold the paper in half to make it into a card.

Tips & Warnings
You can email a PowerPoint file as a multimedia birthday card.
Find out whether your printer is a front- or back-loading printer to avoid double-stamped images.
Allow pages to dry after they are printed.
