Stainless steel surfaces, such as sinks or counter tops, and appliances, such as refrigerators and microwaves, can be found everywhere. While stainless steel is generally durable and easy to maintain, it can also get scratched easily.   • Terrycloth
  • White vinegar
  • Non-metallic abrasive pad
  • Baby oil

      Clean the stainless steel so you can see the scratches clearly. Pour white vinegar onto a terrycloth rag and scrub the stainless steel to remove all residue.

      Use a non-metallic abrasive pad to naturally get the scratches out of your stainless steel.

      Rub the stainless steel with the pad in long strokes that run at least the length of the scratch. Always rub in the direction of the steel's polishing lines for better results.

      Pour some baby oil onto a terrycloth rag, and again, rub the stainless steel in the direction of the polishing lines to further mask any scratches on the surface.
