How to Get Tribal Leatherworking in ""World of Warcraft""

In the massively multiplayer online role-playing game "World of Warcraft," players are able to craft in-game items, weapons and armor by training their characters in "Professions." One of these professions available to players is leatherworking. In earlier versions of the game, a player highly skilled in leatherworking could choose to specialize into "Tribal Leatherworking," allowing him to make special items. Recent game patches have folded "Tribal Leatherworking" into the main leatherworking skill tree, effectively making training in leatherworking the only requirement to learn the "Tribal Leatherworking" recipes.

Instructions

    • 1

Right-click on a "Professions Trainer" NPC to bring up its dialog menu. The trainers can be found in all major cities and can be tracked using the in-game mini-map. Click the mini-map magnifying glass icon, then click "Professions" to display the trainer's location, which will be marked by a blue book.

    • 2

Click the "Tell me about the crafting profession" dialog line in the "Professions Trainer" dialog box.

    • 3

Click the "Tell me about leatherworking" dialog line.

    • 4

Click the "Train me in leatherworking" dialog line.

    • 5

Click the red "Train" button in the professions dialog window that appears. This will train your character in leatherworking.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can train in as many "secondary" professions as you want.

  • You can have only two "primary" professions on one character.

  • Skinning is a good "primary" profession to pair leatherworking with, as the materials gathered from skinning are the main components of most leatherworking recipes.
