Instructions

  1. Bone Ornament

    • 1

Draw a bone on a white craft foam. Draw a simple design with one horizontal line in the middle that divides into two at the ends. The bone should measure about 7 inches long.

    • 2

Use scissors to cut out the bone. Punch one hole at the top left corner of the bone and another at the top right corner.

    • 3

Cut about 15 inches of ribbon. Thread one end through one of the holes in the bone and tie a knot to keep it in place. Do the same with the other end of the ribbon and the other hole.

    • 4

Use a paint marker to write your dog's name on the bone.

    Mouse Ornament

    • 5

Draw the shape of a heart that is about 7 inches high on a craft foam and draw a vertical line to divide the heart into two. Use the same color as your pet's fur.

    • 6

Cut out half of the heart to get a mouse shape.

    • 7

Lay the craft foam on your working surface so the straight edge is nearest to you. Punch two holes on the top of the mouse shape. Punch another hole near the corner where the straight edge meets the rounded curve edge.

    • 8

Cut a piece of ribbon about 15 inches long. Thread one end through one of the holes on top of the mouse and make a knot to keep it in place. Thread the other end of the ribbon through the other hole on top of the mouse and make a knot.

    • 9

Tie a 7-inch-long piece of yarn to the hole near the bottom of the mouse to make the tail.

    • 10

Glue an eye on both sides of the mouse's head.

    • 11

Use a paint marker to write the name of your pet on the mouse ornament.
