How to Make Edible Play-Doh

How to Make Edible Play-Doh thumbnail
Edible playdough can be dressed up with raisins and other kid-friendly foods.

It is hard to believe that Play-Doh actually began as wallpaper cleaner. In the 1950s, the head of an Ohio-based soap and wallpaper cleaner business found that the cleaner also worked as a moldable clay. He tested the clay with local schools and then began selling it in a Washington, D.C. department store. Since then, Play-Doh has provided kids with hours of creative fun. Perhaps the only way to improve upon the classic is to make it edible. In almost no time and with just a few ingredients, you can make an edible playdough at home that's just as fun to play with as it is to eat. Does this Spark an idea?
