My Wii Guitar Is Not Syncing
Wii is the video game console made by Nintendo that is operated by a motion-sensor controller. There are many special controllers that can be used with the Wii to enhance the experience with various games, like a baseball bat, golf club or guitar. The Wii guitar holds the standard remote inside and syncs with the console in order to allow the guitar to act as a remote. If your Wii guitar fails to sync, you can quickly take steps to correct the connection failure.

1
Remove the Wii remote from the guitar. Turn the guitar over so you can see the back and remove the clip cover to access the remote. Lift the remote out of the guitar and unplug the connector on the bottom of the remote.
-
2
Restart your Wii console by pressing the power button to turn the machine off and then on again. Finish checking the remote and guitar while you wait for the gaming system to start up.
-
-
3
Replace the batteries in your Wii remote. If the batteries in your remote are dead then it will not be able to sync the guitar with the console.
-
4
Press the button on the back of the guitar neck and slide the neck out of the guitar. Carefully slide the neck back into the guitar and make sure it locks into place.
-
5
Hold the guitar up on its side without pressing any buttons. The moveable lever, the whammy bar, and the thumb button need to be in the neutral position for the sync to occur properly.
-
6
Plug the connector from the guitar into the bottom of the remote while holding the guitar up. Push the remote into the guitar and clip the cover into place.
