1
Go to a coffee shop or some place in Los Angeles that is crowded and where you have to share seating. There is one of these places on almost every street in LA.
-
2
Pick a girl you think is attractive and interesting. Walk over and ask if you can share her table. It doesn't matter if she looks busy - most girls won't say no.

3
Sit down and start to drink your coffee or eat what you bought. If you brought something to read then read it. Don't make it obvious you want to get to know her right away. Let her wonder what you are thinking about for a minute or two.

Talk about how the place is so crowded. This is an ice breaker. It gets you started and gives you the opportunity to read her body language. If she looks at you and answers keep the conversation going. If she doesn't look up and barely answers then she isn't really interested.

Make up your mind that you aren't going to meet a girl in a dance club or bar that is worth bringing home to mother. If all you are looking for is some quick fun then the club scene works. If you are looking for a relationship then try a coffee shop, a bistro, café or a busy park where you have to share a bench.

Don't get discouraged and don't set your sights too high. Know yourself, do some honest self-appraisal and be confident. There is a match for everyone especially in a city like LA where there are thousands of single women.
