How to Create Your Own Player in "LEGO: Indiana Jones" for Nintendo DS

"LEGO: Indiana Jones" on the Nintendo DS starts with 84 playable characters, but players can create two custom characters of their own. Custom characters can only be used on "Free Play" mode, which is unlocked when the story mode is completed on each level. The character customization tool is in Indiana Jones' office. The tool can shape the outfit, weapons and accessories for the new character.

Instructions

1. Start a new game, or load a previously saved game.

2. Move downstairs in Barnett College.

3. Enter the second door from the left with the fedora above it. This door leads to Indy's office.

4. Enter the door right of the table. This door leads to the character customization screen.

5. Use the control pad to change the pieces of either custom character. The head, hat, torso, arms, legs and weapon or accessory of the character can be changed.

Tips & Warnings

• Accessories like the book or whip will allow the character to use special platforms and reach new hidden areas. Pick a shovel as a weapon if you know you'll need to dig. The umbrella can be used as a weapon or as a hook to slide on zip lines. The bottle can be thrown to hit targets from a distance and cause explosions. Select the whip to swing from special lit platforms.
