How to Focus in a Christian Way
Many Christians sit in church on Sunday and resolve to focus more on their religion and to live better lives. Yet, somehow life gets in the way. A Christian can feel disappointed in herself and feel she is not being true to her beliefs. The best way she can represent her religion, and perhaps influence others, is by being the best possible example of a Christian.

Pray daily. Your prayers might follow a set pattern. Some Christian religions, such as Catholicism, have set prayers such as the rosary. For some people, the ritual and the familiarity of this can be comforting. Other people set up their own form of dialogue with God. Some people prefer to pray in private while others like to attend prayer groups.

Attend a place of worship. It is possible to be a Christian without doing this, but for many people, fellowship is central to their faith. Going to a service can be a time of renewal and provide spiritual sustenance. It gives an opportunity to have quiet time to reflect, and to also meet with friends afterward.

Read the Bible daily, at least a verse or a psalm or two. Give regular time to this, even if it is just a few minutes. Give time to charity also, volunteering your services helping elderly people, or in hospitals or soup kitchens. This is truly living the Christian life. Play a more active part in your church because a lot of work always goes on behind the scenes, and more help is usually required.

Forgive those who have done ill to you. Carrying anger and bitterness in your heart will damage you and stand in the way of a fulfilling life. Engage with other people and with the natural world. Be creative and try hard to use the talents you have been given.
