  • Spray bottle
  • Vinegar
  • Nylon scrub pads
  • Baking soda

      Fill a clean spray bottle with plain white vinegar.

      Spray down your stovetop, counters and any other surfaces on which you have greasy residue. Let the vinegar sit on these surfaces for about 30 minutes.

      Soak pots, pans, glasses, dishes and stove eyes or burners in a solution of half hot water and half vinegar for 30 minutes. Then scrub these items with a nylon scrub pad and rinse them under cool water. Dry them well before returning them to their places.

      Wipe down the surfaces that you sprayed with vinegar using a nylon scrub pad.

      Mix 1 tbsp. baking soda with a few drops of water to create a paste. Use this paste as a gentle scouring agent for any stains that don't come off easily with the vinegar alone.
