How to Draw a Perfect Broken Heart
The aspiring artist can draw a broken heart by using just a few tools and instructions. Just as art students do, the beginning artist should use a "guide" to help him draw a heart. Using pencils of different colors helps him to determine which are the guide lines and which lines are the actual object he is drawing. Art gum erasers help the artist erase all evidence of guide lines, leaving only the perfect broken heart.
Instructions

1
Draw a circle using your blue pencil. Draw an uneven, jagged crack down the center.
-
2
Sketch the outline of a heart with your red pencil. As you draw, make both sides of the heart slightly larger than the circle guide you drew in blue pencil. Carefully sketch both sides of the crack so they would join easily if you put them together.
Use the blue pencil line as a guide line to help you to draw a more accurate heart. If you make a mistake with the red pencil, it should be easier for you to see where you went wrong and to erase in the right spot so you can draw the line of the heart correctly.

3
Draw in smaller cracks radiating out from the main cracks on your heart, using your red pencil. Add any detailing lines you need for the cracks on both sides of the heart. Sketch in two bandages, one on each side of the broken heart.
-
4
Erase all the blue guide lines you drew earlier. Brush eraser bits from your drawing and look for any stray guide line markings. Erase these.
