How to Brew Tea in a Drip Coffee Pot
Drip coffee pots brew tea as well as coffee. The process is faster than teapots, but it does require more tea than conventional methods. A drip coffee pot is faster because it requires less time for water to heat, and the tea does not need to steep. Tea leaves brew more efficiently than tea bags because the hot water can run through the leaves more effectively. The tea is delicious, and the drip coffee pot keeps the tea warm longer than when sitting in a teapot. Does this Spark an idea?

Use two teabags for every 6 to 8 oz. of tea. Open the teabags and sprinkle the tea leaves evenly into the bottom of a filter. The tea will not steep with this process, so more tea is required for the same strength of tea.

Fit the filter into the drip coffee pot and brew it just as you do for coffee.
