My Spray Adhesive Will Not Stick to the Paper
A spray adhesive is a versatile form of glue that allows paper to bond to many different surfaces. It is applied using a spray gun, and dries quickly once it's applied to the paper. One of the advantages of spray glue is that is does not wrinkle or soak into the paper and change its appearance. If the spray adhesive is not sticking to the paper, check that you are using it correctly or change the type of glue you use.

1
Read the instructions that accompanied the spray adhesive. Make sure that you follow these correctly, otherwise the adhesive will not work. For example, check how far away you need to spray from the paper and how much spraying is needed.
-
2
Check that the paper you are spraying is clean, dry and is actually paper. The paper might have a thin plastic coating that is preventing the adhesive from sticking.
-
-
3
Try using the spray adhesive once more. Test to see whether it is sticking to the paper. If not, continue working through the steps.
-
4
Buy some re-positionable spray adhesive, and then repeat Steps 1 and 2. This glue is an all-purpose adhesive that is similar to spray adhesive. However, once you have stuck your paper onto the other surface, you can move it again as it does not remain fixed. Test to see if this works.

5
Use rubber cement instead of spray adhesive. Like spray adhesive, it does not take long to dry, gives a strong bond and is suitable for use with paper. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 again.
-
6
Obtain some liquid or paste glue, such as PVA (polyvinyl acetates) or glue sticks.
