How to Use a Carrier to Trap a Cat
Most cats, feral or not, are reluctant to go inside strange spaces without some prodding. Catching cats with cat carriers can be a tedious process, but it can be done. With incentives such as food rewards and with having regular contact with the cat, trapping it in a carrier is possible.
Instructions

Place the cat carrier in an area frequented by the cat.

3
Leave the carrier door open.
-

Spend time in that area yourself and let the cat see you there. Over time, this will make the cat less nervous in your company.
